New Easter nests

I have been working on a series of ‘Easter nest forms’ made using Carex pendula, the native sedge that likes growing in damp shady places.  I haven’t worked with this material before but when I was giving a large clump its seasonal haircut, I thought ‘Oh this might be fun to weave with’.  I left it a few weeks and have now completed five nest forms, thickly woven to create a soft effect.
