Shows

In 2004, at very short notice, I designed and built a ‘flower fairies garden’ for Frederick Warne publishers at Hampton Court Flower Show.

The commission came in March, only a few months before the show, once the design was approved I dug up my willow stock plants whilst my colleague Tony Richards of Graduate Landscapes (www.graduatelandscapes.co.uk) dug up sections of his wildflower meadow.  We each grew on these key elements of the design whilst I searched in vain for specimen climbing roses.  This was a full size show garden which was awarded a bronze medal and all the plants were re-homed after the show.  The swing was by www.myburghdesigns.com
