First Zoom talk

Last night I delivered my ‘Gardening for Wildlife’ talk on Zoom for the first time to Shepton Mallet Horticultural Society. It was a bit nerve wracking as I would prefer to see who I am talking to, to gauge reactions and involve the audience in the talk rather than ‘talk to myself’ and have to handle computer controls!

However the talk went smoothly and we managed to have a question and answer session at the end. I also received some rather nice feedback:

“Just wanted to thank you for a great talk last night. I think I learnt more in your session than I have from others and it was really fascinating to have a “holistic” view of the ecosystem. It helped everything to fall into place.” Julie

“Thank you Angela for the really fab talk.” Andy

“Very enjoyable talk, it was pitched at a really good level and your passion for wildlife really shone. Well done and thank you.” Flip

“Thank you so much for your wonderful talk Angela. I found it so inspiring as a new gardener.” Alice
