Laid hedge
I am very pleased with the hedge I laid earlier this year – look at all that hawthorn blossom, I have nearly forgotten the scratches and bruises! The hedge is dense, growing well and providing great nesting places for birds.
Rabbit in the garden
The mild chaos that comes from building a new pond: piles of earth and stone has attracted a baby rabbit to make its home right in the middle of the garden. Thats what they say…. tidy gardening isn’t good for wildlife!

Garden design / forest gardening – Bristol
A garden design for a collection useful and herbal plants. The site was more or less a blank canvas on a predominantly clay soil. This has been an interesting project involving the creation of shelter belts, drainage considerations and forest gardening principles.
