In 2004, at very short notice, I designed and built a ‘flower fairies garden’ for Frederick Warne publishers at Hampton Court Flower Show.

The commission came in March, only a few months before the show, once the design was approved I dug up my willow stock plants whilst my colleague Tony Richards of Graduate Landscapes ( dug up sections of his wildflower meadow.  We each grew on these key elements of the design whilst I searched in vain for specimen climbing roses.  This was a full size show garden which was awarded a bronze medal and all the plants were re-homed after the show.  The swing was by
